  1. This is sad, before the ship’s power went, someone was calling out, ‘Hang on Miss Trudy!’ while holding Miss Trudy’s hand, as she lost her grip and plunged into the icy water.

  2. I noticed poor Rose I really don’t think she wanted to be with Cal I believe it was arranged somehow and she was never happy when she is around him she really wanted to be out of the relationship and sad he followed her around at times not a healthy relationship on Cal glad she found Jack and he treated her like a person real person.

  3. How many days they'll travel across the ocean on that ship? I wouldn't get myself busy to adjust some paintings so seriously on a place I would leave as soon as I reach the harbour.

  4. They should have kept this in cause it showed in a subtle way how Cal was possessive of Rose. And the way Rose kissed him, you could she by the expression on her face she was struggling.

  5. Fictional Trudy from the movie oddly resembles an actual stewardess on the Titanic – Catherine Wallace…. she didn't survive the sinking either but she served third class passengers in real life.

  6. Although Cal was a dick throughout the film, he did genuinely care about Rose:
    1. He gave up the chance of safely and easily getting onto a lifeboat when he found out that Rose was on the other side of the ship so that he could safely get her on.
    2. When both made it on Carpathia, Cal went down to steerage to look for Rose.

  7. Interesting what they tend to cut. I suppose the scene where he flips the dining wear was enough to know that Rose doesn't love him, so they just cut this for pacing.

  9. I;m still wondering what ever happened to that Picasso finger-painter. lol

Those paintings were awful. 😛 I guess history was right about ONE thing w/ this movie.

  10. That's easy! Douche bags don't CARE! They have this book called like "How to be awesome with women" that researched the habits of guys who date or get laid a lot, and the author blatantly said to run your hand up the woman's leg on a date and reach for her vagina and MAKE her fight your hand! I cited a 2005 plentyoffish website forum post that cited dating guru David DeAngelo had techniques of RAPISTS (violate the woman's personal space deliberately)

Sexual doormat = STILL a doormat!

  11. As a younger woman, the movie touched my heart like none before or after. So many saw it multiple times, as I did…that romance for me at the time was something I'll never forget and it still tugs as my silly heart today. Sigh…
